Rockstop Cello Quartet
Performing a wide range of newly arranged music for four cellos, Rockstop brings to life madrigals from the Rennaisance as well as soundtracks from the beloved Studio Ghibli. Passionate about the cello and spreading the love of all things bass, Rockstop performs at schools, libraries, gardens, weddings, concert halls, and anywhere in between.
Duo West is pianist, Abbie Gabrielson and cellist, Sonja Myklebust. Together they present concerts of classic and contemporary music for cello and piano throughout Sonoma County, CA and the Northwest.

A program at the UW School of Music in collaboration with the UW World Series, Music Link leverages UW’s unique position as a leading educational institution to amplify chamber music outreach possibilities and train graduating musicians in school and community outreach techniques.
Music Link pairs visiting artists with a University student ensemble to provide mentorship and
training that not only expands the UWWS’ ability to serve local schools, but helps develop the
next generation of community-engaged musicians. Participating students gain experience
creating and performing a curriculum-based concert for Seattle elementary school students as a
The Daana Quartet was the first group to participate in Music Link in 2014-15, training with UW
School of Music professors Melia Watras and Dr. Patricia Campbell as well as working with
visiting artists the Catalyst Quartet. Daana Quartet presented 5 educational concerts to over
550 elementary school students.
Daana Quartet will be participating in Music Link for the 2015-16 season, touring Seattle Public

Students at the University of Washington School of Music, the Daana Quartet holds a unique position at the UW through their participation in the inaugural season of the UW Music Link Program. Music Link is a fellowship program that trains music performance students to create educational curricula and concerts for performance in local schools and the community. Through training with world-renowned music performance and education faculty at the UW and touring artists on the UW World Series, the Daana Quartet presented concerts at Seattle area elementary schools in spring and fall 2015. Music Link is a joint program of the UW World Series and the UW School of Music.
